Mr. Monroe has more than 25 years experience in representing both creditors and debtors in handling bankruptcies, workouts, restructurings, finance matters, in litigation concerning creditors' rights issues, in the enforcement of creditor remedies, in foreclosure proceedings, and related litigation.
Mr. Monroe is an experienced litigator and trial attorney with a reputation for high quality work in complex commercial cases. He has been lead counsel in numerous cases in state and federal courts on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants. He has represented financial institutions and other creditors in defense litigation involving claims asserted against creditors, and many other business clients in a wide range of commercial litigation matters. Mr. Monroe has also briefed and argued appeals before California Courts of Appeal, the California Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit.
